We know that this isn't Ben Heck's (Benjamin Heckendorn) first portable creation, but it's probably one of the most appealing to me. To be honest, I'm not much of an Xbox 360 gamer. I rarely dig FPS titles, and I prefer the nerdy delights of solitary JRPGs and SRPGs to online multiplayer. But the portability of this Xbox 360 gaming rig would certainly change my gaming habits.

This mod would be an Elite version, containing the newer 65nm chipset, a 120GB hard disk, and everything down to the ring of light. The screen he paired with this rig is of a 1280×720 resolution, which is perfect for 720p gaming action. It's rounded out by a full keyboard for messaging and a built-in camera for video fun. 

Oh, what I wouldn't give to tuck one of these under my arms and go somewhere. Don't you think he should go mass market with these things?

For some reason, I think that thing would overheat very quickly, and have a short battery life

The overheating you could be onto something there. As for the battery life, if you were taking this places with you, I would highly suggest bringing a power cord. (Honestly if your bringing any laptop with you I would suggest a power cord, but that's my personal preference).

You know that there is a big problem with your video when the actual content is only marginally longer than the intro. I don't waste four minutes of my life watching a video that is half irrelevant music video, half guy crashing into brick wall. Cut the crap out and just get to the point. You're doing YouTube a disservice by forcing them to waste bandwidth hosting your crappy Windows Movie Maker titles.

If the next Xbox was a portable system like this, I would cream my pants. That thing looks awesome. Pump the screen resolution to native 1080p, add an HD DVD drive (or whichever ends up winning), and a bigger HDD and you've got me sold in an instant. Oh, and make it affordable again, too. K thanks.

To everyone complaining about the intro, you all morons shut the hell up. The intro was awesome, have you no love for a BioShock-esq intro? Punch yourselves in the balls for your lousy comments.

The XBox 360 Laptop is fucking awesome too, I'd commission him to build me one if I had the money. As for overheating, I don't think you have to worry about that, this guy is pretty smart about things like that. I think he uses some kind of water/liquid cooling device in it to keep the temperature down. I want one of these pretty bad.

I agree with Rucksack. Bill Gates should pay this guy a 6-7 figure salary right now to redesign the current 360 and it's upcoming replacement. Yeah, the video was long, drawn out and overly dramatic, but it was better than every Super Bowl commercial that aired yesterday!

Two things could make this better.

- An OS.
- Ability to also hook it up to a TV.

From what I know, his laptop 360's usually go for 2k a piece, least for him to build them. He said on his website he doesnt like to do them because they eat up so much of his time, but if the moneys there the moneys there

He DOES though have instructions on his website on HOW to build it and its actually not that expensive to do it yourself
