Charity auction gives you a chance to become a videogame designer for the day photo

Sony's Santa Monica studio is auctioning off a chance for someone to become a videogame designer for the day. The winner of the auction will be able to bring along one guest and they will get a tour of the studio. The winners will also get a first hand look at the next game the Santa Monica studio is making for the PlayStation 3 (God of War III?!). All of the proceeds from the auction will be going to Big Brothers Big Sisters. The auction is currently at $375 and will end this coming Wednesday.

I think this is a fantastic idea. The money goes to a well deserving charity and the winner will get to meet the game director and key designers from the studio.

Great idea for a good cause. I love seeing the industry do it's share lately, and this one is good. If I were a rich man....
I'd be seeing God of War 3 soon. Fuck!

@ Mxyzptlk: Great fucking Idea! Although, I honestly did not mind escorting Ashley in RE4. It added a lot of tension to an already tense fucking game. As for the rest, get rid of that shit!

Just to be sure, I never said that it's going to be God of War III. It could be, but nowhere on e-mail we got did it say it will be GoW3. I'm just assuming. Plus, the charity page has a picture of GoW so who knows.

@CTZ: I know, but what else could it be? Honestly, if they're not working exclusively on GoW3 then someone needs to smack someone up over there. I need that game. Now.

If I was a game designer...I'd make a Bear vs. Shark game. With lasers. In space. Also, dead hookers, just to piss off Jack Thompson.

why do they have the proceeds going to big brother big sister? Fuck that. If they donated the money to Child's Play they would sell it for a lot more, i guarantee it.
