I am so tired of Cryptic and their constant barrage of sloppy, uninspired, and incomplete MMORPGs. Completely not interested.

All I really want these guys to do is put out an MMO world on the console that's both expansive and put together well enough where In the course of doing my silly quests for silly things, I can incidentally help another player with my special skills.
Is that really that hard?

Champions Online is mediocre and the Star Trek Online is even worse. Why can't they just make some non-mmo games? Stop crapping up the mmo market.
Champions Online is an excellent and fun MMO for what it is, but it is way too small and too little effort was put into developing the game world. PvP sucks and will always suck because I'm pretty sure nobody at Cryptic has ever played PvP, judging from PvP problems and the patches that were released supposedly to fix it. Also, gear is uninspired, greatly limiting end-game content.
But the single-player and the general engine is good, just that the content is shallow. It is one of the slicker MMOs to install and play IMO.

What's this about rumors? A Dungeons & Dragons MMO already exists; it's called Dungeons & Dragons Online, and it's being handled by Turbine - a studio that actually knows how to handle quality MMOs.

Turbine only has permission to use Eberron. That is it. You could pretty much say good-bye to DDO if they brought out a half decent D&D game set in say.. Forgotten Realms or Dragonlance.
