why would i need this? basically its an portable xbox360/ps3, cause ports of those game are the only ones viable with that control scheme.
looking at the specs and the design, its hard to imagine the battery will run for more then 1 or 2 hours.
Next, its too expensive. the vita delivers around the same, but with a smaller screen and costs only a quarter of this. You'll be paying arround 700$ for that screen and the flexibility of Windows.
Also where do you think people will play with this? At home where hardcore gamers have their full grown PC or consoles?
In the bus or train, for what this device is too large and i expect also to clunky?
Its just too large for your pocket to take it everywhere.

You know that there is 0 waranty that you can download your games you buyed now on steam in 5 years?
Maybe the management changes and they think that they throw out the old games from their library.. and well, have fun rebuying it.

Now that I've slept on it I have a somewhat better impression and admit I am glad Razer is trying things like this out. It will be more interesting for console gamers wanting something mobile and more PC-like. If the price is right it might do ok marketed in that direction.
But I have one question for Razer: what happens if an analog stick gets stuck or breaks?
