CES 2010: Razer showing motion tech with Left 4 Dead 2 photo

PC peripheral and hardware manufacturer Razer is interested in bringing motion-tracking technology to the PC. And they’re doing it with the help of SIXENSE Entertainment and Half-Life developer Valve.

In an official release blasted this morning, Razer unveiled its plan to bring a motion-tracking and gesture controller to the personal computer with the help of SIXENSE, a California-based company with a commitment to motion-based tech.

Also announced were Razer’s plans to show off a prototype of the controller with Valve’s Left 4 Dead 2 on the CES show floor during the week.

“With this controller, Razer and Sixense have created the most immersive way to play our games,” Valve’s Chet Faliszek may or may not have said. “For us and for our customers, this release represents motion-enabled gaming that’s more integrated and visceral than any platform has so far achieved.

Apparently more than one of Razer's motion-tracking thing will launch in later 2010.

You all know what this means... Soon we'll have to mod our computers to accept keyboard and mouse input.

Fuck this motion bullshit.

That's more "bouncing" than waggling.

I've had the Novint Falcon for some months now and I can say I really enjoy it. It's no waggle, although it only works with a fraction of the games I own. Hope the open source F-Gen gets more games in. With just about every motion controlled anything, its hard to say if it works or not until you try it.

I was more thinking of the OCZ NIA headband type thing instead of waggle

It's motion control peripherals like this that will test gamers' true skills (hand eye coordination, motor skills) instead of sitting on their fat asses clicking little buttons like secretaries.

You will mop up with Sixense TrueMotion®. Even vs. mouse/keyboard users.

People deserve good life time and loan or just college loan would make it better. Just because people's freedom is grounded on money state.
People could search online to canada goose clothing website to check the ideal canada goose parka. My friends are all very practical people, they never take me any luxury things as gifts, as they know that the common the better. They take foods when coming to my family, so they give canada goose down jacket to me for the coming cold winter.
