I like to pretend that Capcom composed a checklist for Lost Planet 2 on a crinkled sheet of wide-ruled paper. On this hallowed paper, the dev team scribbled a checklist of all the things it believed people needed in the follow-up to a not-so-lauded initial game. It’s composed in blue ink, the looping text slightly smudged by lefties, and the paper worn from the tears of excited executives.
Big robots? Check. Really big robots? Check. Jet packs. Check. Fire. Check. Four player cooperative MP? Check. Aliens. Check. Sci-fi terrorists? Check. Check. Check.
Incidentally, this post coincides with the release of new images taken from the game, courtesy of Capcom’s presence at CES. Check them out if you're up for having your mind blown. Or something.
