You've no doubt already heard the big news in regards to SoulCalibur 4 earlier today. Well, now we have a new trailer of Darth Vader and Yoda in action in SC4. It's not much really, but it's enough to get everyone's panties wet. Yoda uses the force to stop an axe from hitting him and Darth Vader goes sword to sword with a fighter ... even though, technically, the Light Saber should go through any type of object ...

Also, we just found out that Darth Vader will only be on the PS3 version whereas Yoda will only be on the Xbox 360 version. So there goes that epic dream battle. I still can't get over crazy this is!

@ Orion, why would the PSP version get Mace Windu? Because the PSP is super black?

@ Guitar Atomik, it's quite bold of you to say you would murder babies to play SC IV with Grievous. Really, it shows a great level of willingness for personal sacrifice.

But the real question is, would you put up with Wii quality graphics to play as Grievous?

Have you played Soul Caliber Legends?

Nice additions. Glad Namco B are still giving us something extra. They should have really added Luke or Obi Wan over Yoda though. Luke in his various outfits, across the films, would have suited Soul Calibur nicely.

Don't talk about fighter Masters of the Terrible Kurry. A good idea perhaps, but that game was freaking awful.

God damn Namco! Why can't both characters just be in both versions? Would it kill them to make it the same on all platforms? First Soulcalibur 3 is exclusive to PS2 and now this. What a crock of shit.

Well that sucks, splitting them up is just fucking lame.

Anyway, I'm guessing that Yoda goes to XBox because green is pretty much a trademark color for them. The PS3 gets Vader because, well, it's a giant shinny black monster like Vader.

If you have ever wanted to play as Yoda or Vader in a fighting game (ignoring the shitty Teras Kasi), why wouldn't you want the SoulCaliber fighting engine behind them?!?!

I mean, its not like we play fighting games for the story element.

no doubt could be better choices... quick ones to mind are like master chief and a brute hammer for weapon (360) and cloud (ps3)

but anyways.. i can already see them after like 1-3 months selling the other character on the other platform for easy quick cash... it's all about nickel and dime'n after selling a $60 game
