CES 2007: Upcoming Windows games aim to impress
Microsoft recently unveiled their Games for Windows lineup at CES and I honestly can't believe how great the list is. Who knew other genres besides first-person shooter actually existed? If you happen to be at work and you can't view this video or you just enjoy reading the names of PC games, then look over the full list of titles after the break. "Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures" (Eidos Interactive/Funcom) "Age of Empires III: The Warchiefs" (Microsoft Game Studios/Ensemble Studios) "Alan Wake" (Microsoft Game Studios/Remedy) "Bioshock" (2K Games/Irrational Games) "Company of Heroes" (THQ Inc./Relic Entertainment) "Crysis" (EA Partners/Crytek) "Enemy Territory: Quake Wars" (Activision/Splash Damage) "Flight Simulator X" (Microsoft Game Studios/ACES Studio) "Frontlines: Fuels of War" (THQ/Kaos Studios) "Halo 2" (Microsoft Game Studios/Bungie Studios) "Hellgate: London" (EA Partners/NAMCO BANDAI Games/Flagship Studios) "LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy" (LucasArts/TT Games) "Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar" (Midway/Turbine Inc.) "Marvel Universe Online" (Microsoft Game Studios/Cryptic Studios) "Rail Simulator" (EA Partners/Kuju Entertainment) "Shadowrun" (Microsoft Game Studios/FASA Studio) "Supreme Commander" (THQ/Gas Powered Games) "Tabula Rasa" (NCSoft Corp./ Destination Games) "World in Conflict" (Sierra Entertainment/Massive Entertainment) "Zoo Tycoon 2: Extinct Animals" (Microsoft Game Studios/Blue Fang Games) "Zoo Tycoon 2: Marine Mania" (Microsoft Game Studios/Blue Fang Games) "Zoo Tycoon 2: Zookeeper Collection" (Microsoft Game Studios/Blue Fang Games) Bioshock, Alan Wake, Crysis, Hellgate, and Supreme Commander are all looking mighty fine right about now. Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)i'm really looking forward to crysis...i know fps. even though i'll never have a computer that can run that smoothly though.
oh yeah, alan wake...but that game's dead to me..i haven't heard shit about it...might as well not put it on the list Eh... half of it is casual games and multiplats. This is pretty much why I decided to abandon PC gaming and go with a Xbox 360 instead. Hey, wasn't Assassin's Creed supposed to be on the PC, too? Whatever happened to that? So far the 360 version's been getting all the attention. I haven't even heard anything about the PS3 version lately. I'm ready to drop trow and make love to Bioshock...Alan Wake is in line for sloppy seconds. Thankfully they're coming to 360 as well. I played Halo 4. Well actually, I just played 2 copies of Halo 2 at the same time but that's bascially Halo 4. All those games looked fucking sweet. And I love the music, Postal Service FTW. And that is my favorite song by them Ishaan raises my primary conern, where in the hell is Assassin's Creed, I want that game soo bad. The funny thing is, I probably would buy a 360 to get my hands on it, but I hope it does come to the PC.
And yeah Lego Star Wars II and the Warchiefs expansion are already out. Free with Windows Vista: a song by the Postal Service and 10 grams of crack so you can play your games in super sped up hyper reality. 7:00 AM on 05.20.2013 Denis Dyack promises he isn't scamming youLast year, Kotaku ran an article that blew the downfall of Silicon Knights situation wide open.
