CES 2007: The Games for Windows Experience Index photo

Not only is Microsoft using Games for Windows to help brand and standardize PC gaming, but they'll also have a system that will analyze your system specs and give you a score accordingly. Yesterday, we got a first hand look of the latest version of the system in use. We'll have video of this later, but for now, we got a good picture of how it will look and work.

This could be pretty helpful in deciding whether or not to download a demo much less buy a game at retail.

Wonder what kinda score my MacBook Pro would get, with Bootcamp/Windows XP of course (haven't done it yet, no need to so far). It'd be slightly funny to see it give a low score, when the hardware in this thing is pretty high end (read: UT2004 full settings is ALWAYS 60FPS or better, I'll see how Prey performs when the Mac version releases).

banzaiwolf try taking out that extra 256 if you can,and run the test again and see if it enhances performance, do you use 2 512's or a 1gig and a 256?
