Reader Radio Guy writes:
Recently, I went on a trip to the Ukraine, and had a look around their IT stores. For such a poor country, they are surprisingly well-stocked with high-end stuff, like 8800GTSs and Core 2 Duos. Anyhow, while I was browsing, I found this videogame that looks incredibly like the film Hot Fuzz. Being a die-hard fan of all things Simon Pegg, I bought the thing.
Radio Guy documents his horrible mistake, as seen in the video above. Bottom line: This game is certainly not in any way, shape, or form related to the Simon Pegg/Edgar Wright comedy, Hot Fuzz. Yes, there are guns, and a dog. And yes, I also know that there were firearms in Hot Fuzz ... there also might have been a dog in there somewhere, too.
But it is interesting to see how different the industry is outside of countries where things like enforceable copyright laws and, oh, ethics in marketing exist.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
If only it had been as cool as N.A.R.C.

"And my rating is... whatever that is in the right hand corner."
Still, the video was hugely amusing, good work.
Daisy: Oh hi Mike. Yeah, he's here, I'll just get him.
[to Tim]
Daisy: It's your boyfriend.
Tim: He's not my boyfriend.
[picks up phone]
Tim: Hi babe.
Mike Watt: Hello Timmy.
Tim: Where are you?
Mike: Err, Sheffield.
Tim: What are you doing in Sheffield?
Mike: Fell asleep on the tube.
Tim: The tube doesn't go to Sheffield, Mike.
Mike: Yeah, I know. I um must have changed at King's Cross.
Impressive cut scenes though.

My eternal thanks to MaxVest and Bitterbohemian for translating it. Although i have to admit i'm still curious to know what my rating is!
@moonkid - When i first installed it my PC turned off and wouldn't turn back on! I was about to blame it on the game when i changed the power lead and found the fuse had just blown!
@Batthink - Any comparison to Zero Punctuation is good in my books!
According to a Simon Pegg website that ran the story, the great man himself and his loyal side kick Nick Frost have both seen it and thought it rather odd. I'll email them and see if they can write something to prove it, if its true i know my sister will never here the end of it!
It's a great video, deserves the recognition.
