Cave shooter Akai Katana descending onto the Xbox 360

2:00 PM on 05.05.2012

Good news fellow STG enthusiasts! Cave's side-scrolling bullet-hell adventure Akai Katana is making its way to the Xbox 360, courtesy of Rising Star Games. Publishers of everything awesomely Japanese on the other side of the pond, Rising Star have recently opened an office in California so it can ferry even more Eastern goodness our way.

Akai Katana will be their first North American release, and while there isn't a concrete release date for that presently, Europeans will have the opportunity to pick up a copy as early as Friday May 11 for £29.99.
