Cave bring three shmups to Xbox 360 photo

When I saw how lovely Dodonpachi: Resurrection looked on the iPhone, I couldn't help but want a bigger version. On a disc. For a controller.

My wish has been granted, and then some. Dodonpachi: Resurrection is coming out on November 25th in Japan...on disc! Announced at the Cave summer festival, this release comes with HD graphics and two new arrange modes, says Siliconera. If that news wasn't good enough, Cave is also releasing two other ports on a single disc for your Xbox 360. Pink Sweets and Muchi Muchi Pork (delicious!) are coming next spring, both packed with girls, wispy hair and bullets. Famitsu has plenty to look at, but there's little in the way of details on the release.

Didn't Cave say Mushihime would be the last region free game released by them?

I hate you for posting this now because I'll never be able to play it.

So....
Can somebody tell me the point of region locking again?

@RenegadePanda

They said it would be the first game, if it did well they would potentially release games elsewhere. So they released DeathSmiles. Also, Espgaluda II Black Label was released afterwards which was also region free. If these are region free then I will buy them :)

God, I love the Xbox 360. So many shooters on that system. So beautiful.

However, I'd prefer them localize these so that I don't have to spend upwards of $80 for them. You hear that, Aksys?

I don't know if I need any other super expensive import shooters I can't beat.

I'll by them if we see PS3 releases, but I'm not going to buy a 360 just for these, unfortunately.

& yeah, I know Mushihime-sama Futari & Espgaluda II are region-free. They're just expensive, that's all.

It's too bad Cave hates the PS3.

I'm incredibly hyped for these (will be importing both, and if either is localized I'll buy 'em again to support these sorts of efforts), but some readers might also be interested to hear that Cave is bringing Dangun Feveron home in some form (though it hasn't elaborated on the format; likely it'll be downloadable a la Guwange). Easily the best news of the past several weeks at least.

@Cortes121

Xbox 360 has been getting far more niche Japanese game support than the PS3.

The PS3 has like no bullet hell shooters, except for that 3 game collection for $14.99 on PSN, and it's an absolutely awful port with very poor audio.

All Xbox 360 Exclusive STGs:

-Raiden Fighters Aces
-Raiden IV
-DeathSmiles
-DeathSmiles II
-Mushihime-sama Futari
-Espgaluda II: Black Label
-DoDonPachi Dai Ou Jou Black Label
-Ketsui - Kizuna Jigoku Tachi
-DoDonPachi Daifukkatsu Ver 1.5
-Feveron
-Pink Sweets/Muchi Muchi Pork Two-Pack
-Radilgy Noah Massive
-Gunwange XBLA
-Ikaruga XBLA

Any shooter fan knows Xbox 360 is where the goods are at.

I don't read Japanese, but if I had to guess by the cover art, I think this game is called "Cleavage."

@glitz - I think you actually forgot a couple...off the top of my head I'd add Mamoru-kun, Shooting Love 200X, Strike Witches and the Otomedius games to the list.

So is this Microsoft going after these titles or something Sony did.. I just always thought the 360 was not that supported when it came to titles from japan...
