When I saw how lovely Dodonpachi: Resurrection looked on the iPhone, I couldn't help but want a bigger version. On a disc. For a controller.
My wish has been granted, and then some. Dodonpachi: Resurrection is coming out on November 25th in Japan...on disc! Announced at the Cave summer festival, this release comes with HD graphics and two new arrange modes, says Siliconera. If that news wasn't good enough, Cave is also releasing two other ports on a single disc for your Xbox 360. Pink Sweets and Muchi Muchi Pork (delicious!) are coming next spring, both packed with girls, wispy hair and bullets. Famitsu has plenty to look at, but there's little in the way of details on the release.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I hate you for posting this now because I'll never be able to play it.
Can somebody tell me the point of region locking again?
They said it would be the first game, if it did well they would potentially release games elsewhere. So they released DeathSmiles. Also, Espgaluda II Black Label was released afterwards which was also region free. If these are region free then I will buy them :)
I hope it is, we didn't even get DeathSmiles in Europe :(
However, I'd prefer them localize these so that I don't have to spend upwards of $80 for them. You hear that, Aksys?
yea, seriously.. 360 over ps3 for a Japanese title???
Xbox 360 has been getting far more niche Japanese game support than the PS3.
The PS3 has like no bullet hell shooters, except for that 3 game collection for $14.99 on PSN, and it's an absolutely awful port with very poor audio.

Otomedius Excellent arrives in North America next month.
So is this Microsoft going after these titles or something Sony did.. I just always thought the 360 was not that supported when it came to titles from japan...
