I'd be shocked if Atlus USA didn't release an Atlus developed game these days... they even bothered releasing all the Etrian Odyssey games here.
Skipped the ending spoilers, but otherwise it's not too bad. At least it sounds like there is SOME gameplay in this game.

It's a giant ass-mouth monster with Catherine's eyes on the cheeks, and a huge lizard tongue. Is anyone into this? I'm really just not seeing it.

Maybe it'll be an awesome game, but so far I'm just not seeing anything that justifies it being one of the 3 most anticipated games in Japan. I like the Persona series, but this seems like a big step down so far.

Unless there is anything in it that would give it an AO rating (which I doubt) I can't see why it would be censored here.
I hope its not banned in Aus, it looks interesting and I didnt know it was coming out on 360, so I might look into it some more,
While online achievement/trophy lists are often spoiler heavy, checking them on your console usually hides potential spoilers by listing those ones as "secret." So if you can hold off for now Josh, you can safely check them once you get the game!

Show me some gosh darn gameplay, the looks like a Qbert style game and the achievements make it sound like a mario platformer.
Why the hell would I want to read this and ruin the one part of the game I know is going to be good?

There just aren't many games which don't hold back on featuring grotesque, nightmarish monsters in order to tell a compelling psychological story. Dead Space actually does this, now that I think about it.
These monsters take place in the Nightmares of the main character. In such a domain of horrific imagination, why wouldn't there be any weird ass monsters? Come on, I'm sure we've all had some pretty weird-ass dreams featuring our private parts. (I'll be the first to admit it.)
