Valiant Hearts' launch trailer makes me want this game now

Valiant Hearts has been on my radar for a while now. Hell, anything in the UbiArt engine is. But, my curiosity ramped up when Chris "Energizer Bunny" Carter said it was good enough to merit a 9/10. After watching this trailer, I think it's time I queue it up right now so I can queue up some tears in a few hours.

Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark trailer has a dinosaur and Linkin Park

Look, Transformers. As preposterously dangerous as all this mechanized warfare is, we let it slide. But, Linkin Park? That's a clear violation of the Geneva Convention and rightfully considered an international war crime. Someone book Optimus Prime a one-way ticket to The Hague.

Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed strips to its skivvies for this E3 trailer

The zany and bizarre Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed is positively riddled with strange situations, most of which involving people losing their pants, shirts, and quite possible their minds. That's exactly why I want to...

Valiant Hearts' E3 trailer is as sad as its dog is cute

This game is too pretty and that dog is too cute for this to be as unbearably sad as it looks.

NHL 15 trailer shows off the physics of hockey

In its E3 press conference today, Electronic Arts released a new trailer for its upcoming hockey game, NHL 15. During the presentation, EA boasted that it would calculate "physics for all twelve players and the puck." The trailer above shows off those physics, with some bone-crunching hits and pretty fantastic shots on goal. NHL 15 is set to release on September 9, 2014.

Check out Sniper Elite 3's multiplayer and co-op modes

Sniper Elite 3's new trailer sure is full of the gore porn. Headshot, after headshot, after headshot. We've seen a lot of the single-player, but now we're able to see all the multiplayer options. First there's 12-player comp...

Dying Light wants to make a murderer out of you

Everything that we've seen of Dying Light thus far has looked neat, but kind of devoid of personality. It's just seemed like another zombie game with attractive running mechanics. This trailer bucks that trend and adds a bit of charisma. It also adds blood. Lots and lots of blood -- especially after the sun goes down.

Hashtag all filters: Akiba's Trip 2 has a weird editor on PS4

Akiba's Trip 2 is being ported to PS4 in Japan in a couple months (we get it on PS3 and Vita in August) and Acquire has some videos full of swimsuits and bouncing breasts to show off (below). There's also a weird "visual editor" (above) that lets you change sky color and, for some reason, all color. I get the Instagram "vintage" filter, but what's with the EVERYTHING IS GREEN filter?

Handsome Jack loves his own voice in this Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel trailer

As Handsome Jack was preparing for his role in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, he caught a glimpse of the future that was in store for him. He didn't like that very much, so he retconned it. And, not only did he change the timeline of events, he did so in a rather grating way. Either you love him or you hate him, I guess.
