I love House of the Dead: Overkill. One has to respect a really shameless bit of entertainment that doesn't care how trashy it is so long as people are having a laugh. Looks like that shamelessness is perfectly preserved in its HD re-release, Extended Cut. Here's a trailer showing off the game in all its gory, sweary glory. Have fun!

Oh, silly localized games, your dialog is so awful! Here's a trailer for Tales of the Abyss, the 3DS-flavored take on Namco Bandai's long-running franchise. Expect cheesy guitar riffs and anime nonsense in this video, as per the Tales way. This is a videogame!

2D platformers fell out of favor with publishers a long time ago, which is why titles like Rayman Origins make me happy. Here's a shamelessly old school platformer, and it's looking damn sexy. This new trailer shows off some of the accolades won at E3, and invents a few of its own. I'd say it deserves them from what we've seen thus far.
