The WDR Radio Orchestra performed the newest concert from producer Thomas Böcker and his team at Merregnon Studios on just last week on November 16. Being in attendance, I can tell you it was a truly fantastic show, featuring a wide mix of complex and sophisticated arrangements including the 20 minute Final Fantasy piano concerto with world famous pianist Benyamin Nuss, a heart-wrenching Journey piece by composer Austin Wintory himself, and an absolutely breathtaking arrangement of Twilight Princess's "Light Spirit," which was awarded a standing ovation from the audience. But fear not if you were not able to attend. The world class concert will be airing live on German radio station WDR 4, which is available for live streaming online for everyone in the world to enjoy. East meets West will air on November 24 at local time 20:05, which will be 2:05pm EST / 11:05am PST. So mark it down on your calendar, as you do not want to miss this one.
