There's a change of pace in the Castlevania film coming up. The script is now being entirely re-written by Ian Jeffers, instead of the script that had been written before by Paul W.S. Anderson. If you're wondering who he is, his other project is the Kevin Bacon film, Death Sentence, which comes out on Friday.
With Paul W.S. Anderson off of this project, and now the script that he had comissioned gone, it seems most of his touch is gone from this film. Does this mean that the film won't be cursed? Let's see, and in the meantime, enjoy some Resident Evil 3.

Death Sentence looks goooood...
Paul W.S. Anderson was going to write and direct the live action Castlevania but he dropped out later as director. They still planned on using his script though but NOW the Death Sentence writer is re-writing it from scratch. All I can say is thank god Anderson is out completely. The only thing worse than Paul W.S. Anderson directing is Paul W.S. Anderson writing the screen play.
Warren Ellis is writing the animated straight-to-dvd version of Castlevania which has no relation to the live action one at all and is more or less guaranteed to be 10x awesome-er.
