Castlevania Judgment screenshots want to judge your Castlevanias photo

I make the best headlines in the whole of the Blogocube.

Anyway, here are ten screenshots of Wii fighting game spin-off Castlevania Judgment. As far as Wii games go, this one isn't looking too visually shabby. A lot of developers seem to think that Wii games give them an excuse for shoddy graphics, so it's good to see Konami putting some actual effort in.

Among the characters shown is old Castlevania favorite Death, who is looking a bit like Vivien from The Young Ones. A skeletal, ethereal Vivien, grant you.

Is anybody looking forward to this one? I know it had its skeptics when it was first announced but I can imagine it doing quite well. I may not be very good at fighting games, but I certainly wouldn't mind watching other, superior humans, playing it.

From my experience with the early build of the game I'm not looking forward to it at all. But it was an early build i suppose.

This game looks absolutely horrible from what I've seen in vids and gameplay. Sad, sad, sad to think this is going to be a representation of Castlevania.

The more I see the less excited I am.

I'm assuming "Eric" is LeCarde but why he looks like a 12 year old fucking girl is beyond me.

Death has no feet. Nor does he need them to make people die. Because he is Death.

Childlike physicality aside...

He DOES kind of look like a chick in that picture.
(didn't realize I didn't know how to spell his name either!)

Psh, I'm actually looking forward to it. I'm gonna give it a try just because 1. It's Castlevania and 2. I love Obata's art

The game doesn't look that bad, considering it's on the Wii.
Also I'm sort of looking forward to this, but I was also looking forward to the horrible Soul Calibur Legends. Though I doubt this one will be as bad.

This game reminds me of all the bad fighting games that were on the Nintendo 64 like Mace: The Dark Age.

After playing this at E3, all I could think of was Soul Calibur Legends.

Yeah, it was that bad.

But it was just recently announced that the game would support the GC controller. That will actually make a big difference.

The motion controls for this game are horrible, like Boogie level of horrible.

Where the hell is Richter? If he doesn't make it, that's gonna be so dumb. Item crash system? That should make for some awesome gameplay.

I disagree.

This game looks worse that Soul Calibur 3 on PS2. I mean, that WAS a good looking gamea nd all, but this is getting pathetic.

It's funny to see gamers whine about spin-offs. You still got your old Castlevanias to play with. Yes they're cool, but not that cool. To speak frankly, the movements are pretty stiff in those games..

SoulCalibur Legends was bad in the level design, but the controls were pretty good. If you disagree, you haven't spend the time with the sensor bar and tuning up the sensitivity. I guess.
