By now, I would hope that most of you already own Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. In my mind, it's one of those games you need to play before you turn into a miserable little pile of secrets. This week, it's only $5 on Xbox Live, in addition to Harmony of Despair and its add-on levels getting a discount as well.
As is always the case with these Deal of the Week promotions, you need to be an Xbox Live Gold member.
It'll be hard to resist downloading a few of these extra stages. Shame more of them weren't included from the outset. Commence dropping SotN quotes in the comments, if you must.

I just logged into Xbox.com and I see it for download at 800 MS points or 400 MS points if you're a Gold Member, which I'm not, :-(.
Also, definitely buy SotN if you haven't played it yet. I'm going to grab a few of those extra levels.
Not only were all the extra stages and characters ripped out and sold as DLC, but the game just sucks to begin with. It's nowhere near as fun to play as Symphony of the Night. The only cool addition is the "zoom out to see the whole map" thing.
Sounds like someone needs some friends?
Feel like that should be in the story somewhere.
This game should have just been all inclusive for $15.
also I cant find a single person who can say anything positive about harmony of despair, guess it really was crap.
He's got plenty of enemies too. Problem is, he keeps switching sides so many damn times...

Grand total of 2360 (about $30) for all game-related stuff, 3000 for everything ($37.50). Oh, and throw in another $7.50 for the game itself. And another $17.50 if you bought all this at the original prices.
I normally have no problem with DLC, but this is fucking absurd. Also, I should be working right now instead of crunching these numbers.

Had to sign up to tell you how stupid your comment was about the game. None of that is necessary to play them game, even with just the game there are hundreds of possible hours of gameplay right there, then the extra stages and characters just extend that figure more.
And since when was gamerpics and themes necessary to play the game? I hope for your sake that post was tongue in cheek.
