It was rated by the ESRB ages ago, but Castlevania Chronicles is finally coming to the PlayStation Network today.
For just $5.99, you'll be able to pick up the 2001 PlayStation One remake of the Japanese-only Sharp X68000 Castlevania title, Akumajō Dracula. Chronicles features classic 2D gameplay, as well as improvements over the original X68000 version, including update sprites and new levels.
Seriously, $5.99. Castlevania Chronicles. Yes, please.

Granted, I haven't ever sat down and tried to fully beat the game, since it's so fucking hard, but I can say it easily outperforms Super Castlevania IV.
its not the best castlevania.. but any 2d castlevania is gold in my eyes. do want.
