Castle Crashers fans get creative with sneakers, papercraft and more photo

Apparently Destructoid aren't the only ones sucking off the developers of Castle Crashers, as some of our more eloquent commenters sometimes like to say. The game has spawned a ton of fan-made art, sighted on The Behemoth's official blog.

While the papercraft are probably my favorite as I have a soft spot for them, I'm also loving that crazy drawing from a Trader Joe's sign (the artist there is toting some serious talent). The cookies were given to The Behemoth gang as a PAX surprise. The sneakers, which are absolutely crazy awesome, were created by a Deviant Art user who goes under the user name of ItsmeJonas. It doesn't appear as if they are for sale, I'm sorry to say.

A clever gamer decided to even reinterpret my favorite character from The Behemoth's first game, Alien Hominid, using Spore's creature creator. And yeah, I had a crush on an alien. So what? Let's hope someone coughs up that papercraft recipe sooner than later, because my desk would benefit from those little guys (they can battle my Gurren Lagann Revoltech!)

[Thanks, Adam]

That is the best (and most factual) intro sentence I have ever seen.

Wow that TJ's chalk art is magical. Suddenly I require ridge-cut potato chips and virgil's root beer.

Those animal orbs are kinda cool.

The Behemoth really need to make plushies of those though.

How does this story go up on Dtoid and The Behemoths site without a link to the papercraft?

The guy took the pics on them standing on the cut out sheets so it would seem that he would want them out there.

This is why I love the internet - people create awesome stuff, and the love is spread to places where everyone can see it. Awesome.
