I can't say that Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 was really my thing. Tried it, didn't get along with it. However, what I can say is thatCarnage is badass, so it's pretty awesome that he's bringing his own brand of gooey red psychopathy to Activision's comic-themed RPG.
According to Brad Nicholson, who played more of the game than me, Venom sucks, so there's a chance Carnage may suck as well. In any case, he's a brilliant character and I'd be tempted to play some more of the game again just to try him out. In any case, we have screens and a trailer for you, so check them out and let us know what you think about MUA2's take on Venom's baby boy.

That's pretty cool. It seems like Carnage usually gets ignored. He wasn't in either of the Marvel Vs. Capcom games, that shitty Rise of the Imperfects game, any of the Spider-Man movies, and until now any of the MUA games. So that's pretty cool that they're actually acknowledging his existence.
I haven't played MUA2, mostly because I never got into the first one or the X-Men Legends games, but being able to play as Carnage does kind of want me to play it. The one thing that would definately make me buy this game is if they add Disney characters as DLC. The only thing that can make Carnage more badass than he already is is him joining forces with Snow White.
I would guess the reason why Carnage usually gets ignored is because he isn't exactly "family friendly". Definitely one of my favourite Spiderman villians though.
You know what I realized. You could replace Alex Macer from prototype and replace him with Carnage and the game would be pretty much the same in terms of gameplay. Actually that game might of attracted my attention more if it was staring Carnage. Thats a great idea for a sandbox game.
Well, he certainly looks pretty cool/fun to play as. I'm not sure that I'll still care enough about UA 2 to buy him when he's released. It's an alright game, but only alright. A step-down from the original.
Carnage was the shit. I welcome the occasional murdering psychopath in a medium that all-too frequently has "crazy" villains whose craziest actions are to *gasp!* rob a bank or cause some non-lethal damage to a few people.
I'll check this game out when it hits like $20-30, maybe. IF I ever finish the first one.
They really need to re-release Spider & Venom Maximum Carnage on the Downloadable services on of these games, such an amazingly fun game.
As for Carnage and Prototype, I enjoyed Prototype but the whole time I was playing it, I kept wishing that instead of being some random guy I did not care for they had made the game about Carnage or Venom and go around wrecking Marvel New York, the way Alec plays feels soo much like the way a Symbiote would play.
I thought Venom was one of the better characters in the game. I usually had Venom, Wolverine as the core of the party. His tongue attack is pretty lethal.
Great add an unlikeable, shallow, 2D bandwagon character to the mix that really no one cared about since the 90's, great buisness plan Activision, let me know when you bring a real character into the game....say apocalypse maybe?
I like Carnage's aesthetic. He seems more like a plot point than a characterizable character, but I don't care. He's like living blood bound by raging(?) sadism.
As for that sream, I couldn't get to the speakers fast enough first time, but now I can only wonder where the eff I heard that before. I wanna say a video game (and I haven't played many), and it echoes/revirbs less loudly after the first use, maybe in a pool of something (likely darkness, considering PS2 FF & KH). Gah, where?! Eh, I'll figure it out sometime, maybe.
the problem with this game is the view. if they could somehow manage switch from that above camera. even if it could be more like wolverine, that would be the $%^&!!

I guess he looks kinda cool though. Not cool enough to make me give the game another chance though. Not even Deadpool was cool enough for that.

The Sentry tore him in half and left him to drift in space and the comic community collectively golf clapped.

The SNES/Genesis game was awesome.

Everytime I think of Carnage I think of that game. He is a badass.
Shame Juggernaut is a preorder download thing as he fucking rocks and is better than most of the playable characters.
