Sexy PlayStation 3 exclusive God of War III has been at the center of a rather silly bit of confusion thanks to a lineup list claiming it was arriving in 2009. I doubt anybody but the most naive and hopeful expected to see GoW III this year, but just in case you need confirmation of a 2010 release, Sony has more or less provided it.
A list of exclusives that included GoW III, Heavy Rain, MAG and others was presented as a 2009 lineup. In light of the reality that we'll see all these games when Satan has a snowball fight, Sony has extended its release lineup period to March 2010.
This means that the current release schedule now lasts through Sony's fiscal year, not the year inhabited by human beings. We now no longer know what's coming this year or next year, which pretty much sucks. Still, at least we have Noby Noby Boy.

Boy would obviously try and eat you.
There's your incredible hatred of him.
But then, of course, you wouldn't want to touch him if possible.
So I guess you'd just try and escape him, but then Boy's constant stream of energy would allow him to catch up with you, try to eat you and you would go ballistic and rip him apart. Then he eats his own ass and it begins again...
Perpetual motion engine right there.
A couple of local retailers are taking preorders for this. I'm excited for GOW III however I'm not excited enough to preorder the thing a year in advance.
Oh well, there will be enough to play by the end of the year anyway.
Anyways,I think Uncharted 2,Heavy Rain,MAG and the next Insomniac game is enough for fall.
Specially that they started the year with Killzone 2
All of that is good enough.I want Santa Monica to take their time with God of war 3.
(sorry i had to do that but i needed it)
It's kind of a nice time to avoid the holiday glut of titles that causes many great titles to get lost in the mix.
