Captain Obvious: Fils-Aime says there will be a Wii Fit shortage this holiday photo

In a recent shocking announcement, Reggie Fils-Aime admitted that while the Wii itself should finally be available this holiday season (now that everyone has already paid god knows how much to get one on Ebay), the Wii Fit would likely be difficult to find. You don't say!

Fils-Aime also commented third party developers "don't fully understand" the potential of the Wii, which I guess is supposed to explain the reason why I don't have that many third party titles for the system that I love to play. Still, kind of condescending, isn't it? Somehow I doubt that understanding the Wii's "potential" has to much to do with it. I'm sure it'd be hard for Reg to grasp that some developers just aren't interested in waggle.

By the way, I've got a Wii Fit in my hall closet collecting dust, if anyone is in desperate need of one.

For some reason, I just totally thought of buying the Wii Fit and using it as a stand to eat my food off of.

Why is it that in every picture of Reggie (yesiknow, he's not in picture above) he's holding his arms out, palms up, and making the deer-in-headlights/presidential lip-bite combo?

Wii Fit: I've been scouring the local shops since release, and it was supposed to be for my birthday (on the 24th) but I've given up on the Ninty hype for now and got a PS3 instead. At least you always know there'll be a PS3 in stock, amirite? *ba-dum-tish*

there could be only 10,000 ps3 across the US and they would still be in stock till x-mas. Damn you nintendo and your marketing schemes.

I've been looking since launch and still have not seen one in stores to this day. If I had one maybe I'd turn it on once in a while. But till then, my Wii sits in standby charging my PS3 controllers.

I ordered a Wii Fit from gamestop.com for my girl for christmas. It arrived about a week ago. We already broke the balance board and had it sent in for repairs though. =(
