Oh, it's Capsized! You remember Capsized, right? Fairly substantial news on this front -- it's going to launch this Friday on Steam for $9.99.

Been a while since I've gotten to see the game, and it's looking much more polished. Screenshots, like the ones shown here, give it a Metroid vibe. In terms of the alien creatures and non-linear levels, yes, but Capsized is quite a bit faster on the whole.

In fact, developer Alientrap Games has said its taken inspiration from first-person shooters. Should be highly interesting to see how this game is publicly received.
