Capcom ups the ante with these Lost Planet 2 screens photo

Bravo, Capcom. You really know how to pique a person's interest. I played and enjoyed Lost Planet, even though the game had frustrating controls (the final boss in particular). But, I told myself I wouldn't get hyped for the inevitable sequel.

Today, Capcom sent over some screenshots of Lost Planet 2. Nothing to worry about, right? I figured I'd be able to look at them without getting overly excited. Wrong! The game's got giant lizards, guys. Giant. Freaking. Lizards.

The snow-filled areas were fine for the original, but boy am I glad to see a change of scenery in Lost Planet 2. Now if only we could get an early demo like we got with the first Lost Planet, that'd be fantastic.

It must be just me but I thought the original Lost Planet looked like crap, and I'm kind of disappointed it hasn't improved by much.

@Volomon: Pft, your memory is foggy. Lost Planet was of the best looking games at the time, dude, and it's now running on the Resi5 engine, so if you honestly think that it hasn't improved by much then yes, it is just you.

Honestly, the game -looks- absolutely stunning, and the fact that you are unimpressed and fail to see improvement just shows how ignorant you are.
