Capcom will begin releasing their arcade classics on the Wii Virtual Console. The first release is SonSon, a game that came from the Chinese fable Journey to the West. This was originally released in 1984 in arcades. Don't act like you remember that. This version supports two-player action and is set to release this summer for 800 Wii Points.
This is the first of many. Capcom plans to follow SonSon with "regular additions of its classic titles to the Virtual Console Arcade." They say that they recognize the importance and growth of the online business and plan to break into digital distribution.

Capcom has disappointed me lately. Glad to see they continue to make bad decisions.
Awesome! I barley remember the game, so I may be running on nostalgic thoughts here. Still, I remember the graphics, music and gameplay being extremely cool. Vintage Capcom arcade excellence. =)
Also, I'm a Bionic Commando fanatic, but never had the opportunity to play the arcade game, dammit.
