Available in Japan since last year, Capcom's Wii exclusive title We Love Golf! is nearly ready for release in North America. Today, Capcom has revealed the two new characters -- Stephanie and Mark -- as well as their alternate costumes. Fans were given the choice to select the exclusive alternate outfits, from a list of awesome Capcom classic characters like Dead Rising's Frank West and Guy from Final Fight. But in the end, Ken from Street Fighter's red gi for Mark, and Morrigan from Darkstalker's outfit for Stephanie were chosen in the end. I was hoping we'd get "King Shriek" from Trojan, so this is a bit disappointing. Any classic or obscure Capcom characters you thinks should have made it into We Love Golf!?

Oh, and speaking of Morgan, I had a fat middle-aged wiccan Morgan who lived across from my house, and she painted pictures of three-breasted women. She was weird.

And the male costume winner SHOULD have been Captain Commando. He was even in first for a while. But all the little SF fanchildren had to go and vote for lame-o Ken. How did one of the lamest SF designs win over CAPTEN SAWDOH?
you know well enough Gen Eric that if its a fanbased contest, it's gonna amount to SF/DS/RS characters being the highest when other well deserved characters should be.
How does it compare to Hot Shot's Golf?

They may as well have just used Lillith.
I found it refreshing that in the press release Capcom acknowledged that this whole "let the fans choose the hidden outfits" idea was a terrible one.
Should've just put them all in...letting fans choose usually ends badly.

I love this golf series so much. I might want this. but I'm kinda holding out for the PS3 version, which will have to wait until that MGS bundle hits the shelves

I just hope this is more lefty-friendly than Super Swing Golf was.. that game was nigh unplayable for me. when will these lazy-ass developers realize that some of their games are awkward for lefties and design accordingly? (biggest offender is on DS. there are too many games where i have to awkwardly balance my stylus because otherwise the interface is covered up. the wii is generally better about it, but there are some games where an motion isn't optimized for left-handed play... its about more than just which side of the tee the golfer stands on.)
Awesome, but...it's still golf.
