Thanks, Capcom, for taking care of us on the PlayStation Network with downloadable PSP games. Some companies, like yourself, are putting out the effort, and that's appreciated.
Capcom has two new additions this week to the PSN. Mega Man Maverick Hunter X is the first. It's Mega Man X, redone in 3D with new music and unlockable features. Darkstakers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower is a fantastic fighting game that not enough people are into. Remember? It was a launch title. C'mon, there's Morrigan. Same ol' sprites and all, but it's Morrigan!
Both games are available now on the PSN right now.
Dale North is Destructoid's Editor-In-Chief, a founding editor, and specialist in Japanese gaming. An accomplished musician, Dale was reporting from Japan during the earthquakes of 2011. Probably the only reason it entertained me longer than it should have is because I've never played a Darkstalkers game before this one. So the chance to get to know Morrigan and the rest of the cast made it very appealing to me. :/
I only have fun kicking Takeshi/Yojimbos ass online :)
That said, I will buy this for Vampire Savior when I'm away from my Saturn.
I really hope it happens, but it seems like Capcom ignores their non-Street Fighter fighing game properties more and more as time goes on. Maybe if enough people buy Darkstalkers Chronicle on the PSP, they'd actually see a reason to do so.
