Seriously, after 173 hours, I can safely say this is one of my favorite games EVER. I can't wait to see how they improve for the next installment!!
Now bring Monster Hunter 3G over here. C'mon, it obviously couldn't hurt...
...It's not gonna happen,is it?
-_-;
You mean business doesn't work that way? What do you mean they don't care about my strongly worded comment on Destructoid about how I dislike things like on-disc DLC because I went out and bought the game anyways? That's just silly, businesses exist because they listen to their customers, not because we give them money for things we don't like..."
Also we cant allowe capcom employes to be layed off, imagine the horror of them wandering the streets
The fact that it's a good game is an anomaly. Capcom will surely ruin the sequel with their shitty business practices and lock a bunch of stuff that was obtainable in the original game behind DLC.
It's my favorite new ip, so fingers crossed and all that. Man I need that damn game back.
Fuck video games.
I originally jumped into the game amazed and having a blast. That lasted about 3 days. Then I begin to see all the glaring flaws I'd glossed over in my initial joy. And there were a lot of them.
They had some good idea with DD, but a lot of work needs to be done to make this game something truly like what it claimed to be originally. "UNLIMITED FREEDOM!"
Hardly. I'm happy to hear this though, despite the disaster that was SFXT, I love Capcom.
With net sales so much higher in Q1 2012, it makes me think that what Q1 2011 would look like compared to the previous 5 or 6 years.
Here's hoping they focus on what made it good and take their time coming out with a worthy successor instead of just pumping out a sequel as fast as they can. Nobody needs another Dragon Age II situation.
Also, blah. Mega Man. Fuck Capcom.
but i WILL NOT buy a sequel unless it has real online co-op play.
the fact that this one didn't have co-op play was a disappointment.

Just want to second this. Good job gamers, way to show Capcom that their business practices won't be tolerated.
Inb4 a fanboy buys 4 copies + all DLC of SFxT to combat my "hate".
Hope they work on some more original titles, it's paid off it would seem.
But alas no, they jump straight onto the sequel bandwagon.
Co-op is a must. This game would be great with co-op. It's obviously not really a persistent world like Elder Scrolls, so I don't see why it wouldn't work with a mechanism like RDR's co-op. Maybe even with horses or some creature to ride?
I wouldn't mind a change of setting too. Tundra or desert (jungle and forest would be too much of a strain on graphics, I'd guess).
BUY MONSTER HUNTER FOR CRYIN' OUT LOUD!!!11!!1
/O[]O/ I__I ,,
From what I've heard, they are very similar sans Multiplayer....-_-;;;;
