Capcom Japan has just updated their list of million-selling titles on their Web page, and we ran down the list to translate the 44 entries for your reading enjoyment.
As you'd guess, this is a Street Fighter and Resident Evil-heavy list, and Mega Man (Rock Man) always ranks, though his titles sit lower than you'd think. Dino Crisis outranks Mega Man 2? What kind of world is this?
I didn't know that so many Disney licenses for the Famicom and Super Famicom were such hot sellers. I'm glad to see old favorites like Aladdin, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers and Mickey's Magical Adventure selling so many copies. DuckTales titles rank right alongside Biohazard ones in this list. Also, it's surprising that Capcom haven't really cracked the handheld market in the same way as other Japanese heavyweights like SquareEnix and Konami.
