Capcom fighter Fate/unlimited codes being pulled from PSN

Have you downloaded Capcom's PSP fighter Fate/unlimited codes? If not, you have just over a week before importing a Japanese UMD becomes your only option. Due to an expiring license, the publisher expects the title to disappear from the PlayStation Network on June 12th.

The moribund fighting game is based on the Fate/stay night franchise. Beginning with a visual novel of the same name in 2004, Fate/stay night has since spawned an anime, manga and three games, including Aksys Games' recently released RPG Fate/EXTRA.

Capcom has cut Fate/unlimited codes' price in half (to $9.99) as an incentive for players to purchase the game before the publisher no longer has the right to sell it. Though I haven't played this entry in the franchise, the title is considered something of an overlooked gem. Back in 2009 Dale North called it the "perfect pick-up-and-play fighting game," so if you're at all interested you may wish to pull the trigger while you still can.
