With a growing number of last-generation games getting high-def compilation discs, it's odd there haven't been more digital titles making it to retail. Leave it to Capcom, however, to jump right on that.
Due out in spring 2012, the Capcom Digital Collection brings together eight Xbox Live Arcade games for $39.99 while retaining the individual Achievements and online functionality.
- 1942: Joint Strike
- Bionic Commando Rearmed 2
- Final Fight: Double Impact
- Flock!
- Rocketmen: Axis of Evil + "Rocketmen: It Came From Uranus" expansion
- Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
- Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
- Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3
There's enough worthwhile content in there to make this bundle valuable. I have to imagine that most people reading this website have at least a few of 'em already, though.
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied:
"bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Might as well buy it!
No Megaman.
Try again.
Well, sorry Capcom, but that's a "no buy" from me.
But hey, Super Turbo and Puzzle Fighter are pretty cool.
Woulda liked some MvC2 aswell though... that came out on XBLA didn't it?
Now that Playstations are required to be activated through the XMB, will they patch that garbage out?
Not for me. Only Megaman game I've played is the X remake on the PSP. And technically MM9 but I got bored with that. I like them Capcom fighters, and that will always be what I associate the brand with.
I hope this release adds some much needed population in the puzzle fighter servers, shit is a ghost town right now and the game is too fun for people to ignore.
Seriously Capcom, get with it: More Mega Man, even if its old Mega Man.
I agree about the fighters, but now that IV Arcade is out, I see no need to play II. I guess I'm just not nostalgic.
Stop annoying everyone with MM posts in every capcom news.
Before legends got canceled nobody gave a shit.
MIGHT pick it up after the eventual $20 price drop.
