If this is the PS1 version, be warned - Darkstalkers on PS1 had some of the most Godlike AI I've ever experienced. It was ridiculous.

I never played Dark Stalkers, but I would like to try it. I only have a 360 though, so I hope it lands on XBLA.

i don't know why capcom refuses to put those so that people can buy them in one go????
just look at their compilations:
Street Fighter Alpha Anthology, Megaman Collection(1-8), Megaman X Collection(X1-X6; fuck X7 onwards, though at least the art and music is good), Darkstalkers Collection, etc..
i just hope they make a Alpha 3 Max Online version and this time for consoles instead of PSP.

I use to want them to put out a nre darkstalkers, but I know that if I were to buy it when it can out I'd eventually have to pay at least 100+ just to get the complete experience a la street fighter and mvc3.

Great news! I have a backwards compatible PS3 but my fightstick dosesn't work on PS2 games... Thanks to PSN I got SF3, MVC2 and now Darkstalkers. Now if they can release Capcom vs SNK 2 I'll be good.
I'm happy about this, but no Vampire Savior? The first DS doesn't have Hsien-ko, Jedah, B.B Hood, Q-Bee, Lilith, Donavan, or playable version of Pyron. DS3 lacks two of those characters too though I suppose, but no Hsien-ko and Jedah is killing me. I'll probably buy this anyways just to support.
I may be wrong, but lack of online support/multi for a fighting game these days seems like a huge mistake. it almost feels like it should be mandatory, considering how it substantially lengthens the lifespan of the game.
I hope it gets released elsewhere.. Love those games.

Check Udon's webstore, or Alvin Lee... He's the artist I think.. These were multiple covers of the Comic they did a while back.
They did a poster version at one point...
