Capcom bringing Steel Battalion Heavy Armor to PAX East
As the sort of person who plays a lot of drek using Kinect, I'm eagerly anticipating the opportunity to get my body all up in a walking battle tank in Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor. Much to my dismay, a whole lot of other people are going to get that opportunity before I do, as Capcom has vowed to bring their heavy mech shooter with the full-bodied flavor to PAX East this coming weekend. Lucky bastards. Although a crowded show floor is hardly the best place to play a Kinect game, I'm still deeply resentful of everyone who gets to play it in Boston. Go play a round on my behalf, would you? You can imagine me sitting here in front of my computer seething with rage while you do it. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)It might be difficult to play this game since Capcom will be selling the mech's legs separately as priced Day One DLC ;-) I have ALWAYS wanted to play a Steel Battalion game, so this may just be the game to make me finally buy a Kinect. 9:00 AM on 05.22.2013 People actually like the Maverick Hunter reboot conceptSome time ago, we learned off a rather odd project from Capcom -- a gritty Mega Man X FPS idea that never saw the light of day. It's somewhat difficult to deny at this point that the whole motion controls movement has been a bit of a bust. Developers never quite figured out how to properly implement them into already established genres. The traditiona...more

It's humorous to see these newly announced pre-order incentives for Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor. So far, everything Capcom has shown points toward a rather bleak-looking game filled with death and destruction. You know what ...more
