Mega Man may be turning 25 this December, but don't expect Capcom to give Blue Bomber the same treatment we've come to expect from Nintendo and their plucky protagonists over the past couple of years. When fans expressed concerns over what exactly the publisher would be doing for the anniversary over at Capcom Unity, Corporate Officer and Senior Vice-President Christian Svensson had this to say about the company's plans:
So something is coming other than the much maligned iOS social game Mega Man Xover and a Japan-only musical collection, but it sounds like it's probably not going to get anyone hot and bothered. Oh well. Were you really expecting Capcom to throw a raging party for their least favorite child? Yeah, I didn't think so.
