Oh how I wish the PS3 and 360's music players would squash the idea of "music packs" - I mean, that's what that functionality is for, right?
Before the days of modern consoles, I used to plug my PS1's red stereo cable into my TV, while playing on PS2, and rock out to my own tunes with the PS2's sound effects, ghetto rigged style.
Replays are fine, but I'm not bloody well paying for them. That's something you should be releasing to keep people interested in your game, or to draw in new players.
Pallette swaps as DLC? I don't freaking think so, Capcom.
Since its only 3 bucks for all the colors, thats not awful. Better then around a dollar each costume for new costumes in SSFIV.
They packed so much content into the 15 dollar game that I'm really not butthurt about them trying to get a little extra money here and there.
And to think they used to be one of my favourite companies. Then this generation came around.
BUT GUYS!!! If you don't like it, just don't buy it.
It's not the end of the world. Can't blame them for selling it to people who are willing to pony up the few extra bucks.
Exactly why I can never pay for a music pack for any game. I have an ipod hooked to my X360 and have playlists on that. I was recently playing Final Fantasy XIII with the Final Fantasy X OST.
And I haven't played any Street Fighter with the official music since the launch day of SF4.
Game companies should figure out how to provide DLC that fans want, and not just try to take all our money with horse armour.
if the competitive players buy it, so will the rest, if they wont buy it, then the rest wont.
Devilish marketing, capcom
Man, Capcom DLC continues to be the most worthless, greedy, and undesirable. If only they could release, I don't know, a "compatibility" pack. But what company would EVER generously give fighting game fans free stuff like that?
If only...
LOLOLOLOLOL I SEE WUT U DID THERE U SHUD RITE FOR DESTRUCTOID LOLOLOLOLOL EPIC FOR THE WIN LOLOLOLOL DUCK BASKET!
@Rammstein
Alright, I won't lie. I cracked up.

Is it true that 3rd Strike Online Edition had a bigger budget than SF2HD Remix? I've read that elsewhere, and it is pretty insane if it is true.
If it has, will be a great shock for me, the game it's almost a raw port and the net code was made by some guy not related with Capcom.
Looks people just want to be owed everything for free.
huh? no. people have been complaining about unnecessary dlc that should be included in the first place. Paying for replays is just retarded, why does it feel like capcom is actively trying to get rid of lifelong fans?
Meanwhile, Tekken allows you to completely customize your characters, along with Soul Calibur, Dead or Alive, pretty much any other company who isn't as greedy as Crapcom.
Fuck off capcom, I think we should take a break for a while til you get your shit together.
Christian Svensson (Capcom US VP) confirmed 3rd Strike Online Edition had a higher budget than SF2 HD Remix.
He apparently said it in an Ask Capcom video, but that is 44 minutes so I'll just link to a Siliconera piece that has the relevant quotes.
http://www.siliconera.com/2011/05/08/street-fighter-iii-3rd-strike-online-edition-is-capcom-usas-highest-budget-digital-title/
While looking for the info, I ran across another claim that Capcom planned to sell 3rd Strike Online Edition cheap and make its money with DLC. I'm not going to watch a 44 minute video just to see if that is the source of that claim as well, though.
