Canadian Wal-Mart rolling back prices on PlayStation 3 photo

Today, I am proud to be a Canadian. Not only is our dollar on par with the American dollar, after 30 years, but our Wal-Mart is currently selling PlayStation 3 systems cheaper than the US Wal-Mart is. Long live the mountie!

Right now, Wal-Mart is selling the 80GB Playstation 3 bundle for $549.83, which is $110 cheaper than the regular price. The bundle includes the console, a controller, MotorStorm, and a Blu-ray remote. Wal-Mart is also selling games like Resistance: Fall of Man for $39.83, Call of Duty 3 for $18.83, and Rainbow Six: Vegas for $45.86.

The sale is limited though, so everyone put down their hockey sticks and whale blubber, and get to Wal-Mart for their anniversary sale before it ends on October 4th, 2007. Any Americans living near the border may want to cross into Canada to buy this system cheap, too. Remember -- our money costs the same as your money, so you'll be getting a deal too.

Free healthcare, dirt cheap car insurance, and smoking deals on gaming gear. I love Canada. Now if only we could convince the CFL to fold and make room for the NFL up here, we'd be set.

Even with the 110$ it's still not cheap enough. I do want some Eye of Judgement action but it's only game on there that I want. I'll think about it when it's the price of premium 360(399$). Now that our dollars are about of equal value, why do we still need to pay 10$ more for every game and I don't know how much for the systems? Being canadian is great but those prices are not fair.

This sale could also be known as: Please help us liquefy this shit. It's not selling and we need the room in our warehouse for something that will sell.

Also, I hate Wal-Mart.

We don't have free health care. We pay for it every week when we get our pay "cheque."

FuriousGeorge:

Probably not since the controllers with rumble haven't been released yet.

And even then, we don't know if they'll even be packaged in with a PS3.

Great this is all great me being Canadian and all but im more interested in WHEN THE HELL your going to tell us who won that contest where i posted 30 bloody comments with Betrayal in them. I mean if I won that I don't need the PS3 do I? It is nice to see that Canadian prices are starting to match american ones though, I was getting pissed off at being stiffed considering as how the Canadian Dollar is actually worth about the same or a little more than the American Dollar right now.
