Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized uncovered for DS photo

If this surprises you, then you're either a moron or you've never heard of evil publisher Activision. It has today been revealed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized is heading to the DS as part of Activision's plan to saturate the market with everything released everywhere. The game also uses too many colons for my liking.

"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized will bring the epic Call of Duty intensity of Modern Warfare to Nintendo DS fans through a unique storyline and companion narrative," claims Activision, evilly. "The title will also serve up a bevy of features, including a six-player online multiplayer mode that allows friends to host their own server, as well as the brand new Survival Mode, giving players a variety of weapons to hold off waves of oncoming enemy forces and an expanded six-player online multiplayer mode. Also, Arcade Mode will allow gamers to replay the game's single-player with a time limit and running score, with extra points awarded for specific achievements."

The last time I tried to play an FPS on the DS, it was that Metroid Prime one. I swiftly concluded that I needed at least two extra hands in order to play it comfortably, and gave up. Still, I'm all for second chances, so I might check this out. Never did try the first one.

I quite like the FPS controls on the DS, the actual games them selves are just never that great.

The first Call of Duty 4 on DS wasn't terrible, in fact, it was borderline almost-fun.

*hugs his R4DS*

Was their a MW game on PSP?

If not it seems like a great idea for Sony to lock one up as they are trying to push the PSP this year.

@Psycho terror2

That and forgets to put spaces between words (unless he has a dodgy space bar, in that case Jim; I apologise).

@onlineatron

No. There was a WWII Call of Duty, Roads to Victory. It wasn't that great.

Modern Warfare on the DS was fun, I thought. I assume World at War wasn't bad either, since it's made by the same company. I somehow glitched out the multiplayer and ended up with a fully auto dragunov that also featured infinite ammo. Online play shall be interesting.

So for the translation on the header...the guy on the right is saying some shit like "What if today I make sure that you love me?" and the guy on the left says something about being an idiot. Where the FUCK did you find this picture, Jim?

Are you genuinely interested in trying this, Jim, or did you just want to put more words in? Knowing that Modern Warfare 2 on the PS3 and 360 is kind of the definitive version, and knowing that FPS just doesn't work control-wise on the DS (as you mentioned), I can't come up with any sort of emotion for this aside from ambivalence.

Some of you were pretty close on the "translation" of the image.
The translation is (from right to left): "And what if I'll die today, and you still haven't told me you love me?" and he replies: "Don't be an idiot. Of course you'll die today".
Where did you get this picture? More importantly, why would you post this picture (especially since in all likelihood you had no idea what they were saying)?
