Now, I know that you may find this difficult to believe, but it seems as if Activision plans to release a third entry in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series. Shocking, right? The latest issue of the UK's Official PlayStation Magazine has a tease for coming coverage of the title, which would lead me to suspect that we'll be hearing an official announcement of the game's development pretty soon. Try to act surprised.
No doubt there will be plenty of information about Modern Warfare 3 at E3 next month, so stayed tuned for that. While you're waiting, perhaps you'd like to challenge your fellow Dtoiders to some Black Ops?

After black ops I'm done with COD. All I ever play is the SP and I hardly touch the MP so really no point in me buying it especially at 60.
I'll start buying them used when they get cheaper, like black ops.

2 months seems to be about 1/6 of the life the game, given how frequently they release these things. I'll never understand the mentality the results in plopping down $60 for a "new" CoD game every year.
Also, wasn't the lawsuit between Activision and the former heads of IW preventing them from releasing a MW anything?

I bought Black Ops for $49.00 and traded it in for $40.00 several months later - the game only cost me $9.00 which is certainly bearable!

That's honestly why I ended up keeping it through gamefly. That and being in a terrible living situation led me to dump hours upon hours in the game... Hopefully brink will break the cycle.
I don't have anything against CoD. It's just not my cup of tea. But I have to wonder when the gamers will realize they are buying a new copy of essentially the same game every year.
