Most of you are probably still sleeping in to be ready for tonight's midnight launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, but those that got an early start today might be interested to hear that Call of Duty Elite is now ready for download.

Activision's social networking service is now up for the grabbing -- after your $49.99 payment, of course. That's a lot of money, but being able to do things like changing your load-out from your mobile phone is the future. Keep in mind that you'll also get all the DLC for that price. It's not so bad when you look at it that way.

I'm sure you've already made your decision on Call of Duty Elite, though. If you're that hardcore about COD, go now. The download is about 100mb.
