Thanks to some crafty gamers digging through the Call of Duty 4 PC demo files, we now have a full list of the single-player and multiplayer weapons for the game. I'm no gun expert and am essentially clueless as to what most of these weapons look like, but if you're into that sort of thing, check out the complete list (found via MaxConsole) after the break.

In other CoD4 news, the community manager for Infinity Ward and Activision, Fourzerotwo, has confirmed that there will be 16 multiplayer maps included on the game disc, with a possibility of download content being released at a later time. As someone who played the hell out of the 3 maps included in the Call of Duty 4 beta, I can't help but be overwhelmed with joy.

Demo is intense, my heart was pumping fast. Constant action, awesome graphice, great multiplayer, epic call of duty type battles, huge weapon list. It will be good.

I think the part that hit home a little is that this takes place in present times, and the middle east battle made me think about the boys over there. Godspeed guys.

Lemon trust me on this man you will get much more enjoyment out of COD4 in the long run i think so this is the way to go man.

Good, no damn XM8, I am sick and tired of seeing that rifle in games. Now if we can axe the Desert Eagle, I'll be happy. But seriously, MP44 and MG42, is there a World War II section of the game?

sorry to be the one to say this TRIP but if you liked cod3 then you probably wont like cod4 cause cod4 is made by a company that knows how to make a good game unlike treyarch who sucks fat french tranney cocks and makes games about it under the guise of cod franchise .....

ok now that i got that off my chest , cod3 was garbage and cod4 will be the greatest cod game ever!

Looking forward to this as what could be the best fps to date. After playing almost 200 multiplayer Halo 3 games I can say that the 3 weeks in the beta for COD4 were better than Halo 3. I mean sometimes I only see 5 to 6 maps-but this with 16-awesome. PLus the weapons customization and upgrades with ranks. If the multiplayer is any indication of hwo great the single is I cant wait. Between this, THe Orange box , and Halo 3 and Mass Effect it will be a busy end of the year. Sorry Mario

I'm getting/pre-ordered the PC version here, but Xbox Live makes the games sooo fun! Maybe since L4D and GTA got delayed I can have enough money for both....nah, probably not...

Some of those things I wouldn't actually call weapons, like Airstrike is just the bonus for getting a 5 kill streak for multiplayer, not sure how it will work in single player, and Bomb Defuse is a Perk in multiplayer. Still awesome tho, the 16 maps is great, and I hope they do release more maps free to download later.

The WWII weapons I'm sure are just bonus unlockable items, more for nostalgia purposes.
