Middle Eastern conflict may not be the best time to spread Christmas cheer, but Infinity Ward's latest PC patch for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has gone the festive route regardless. A modification of the multiplayer map Crash, called Christmas Crash, has been included with the patch which fixes bullet accuracy issues and improves both the server browser and mod support.

It's so pretty, it makes me want to resist my urge to shoot people in the face for just a moment and give everybody a big warm Christmas hug. Awwwwr.

Heh, looks kinda cool... even though the thought of Christmas in the middle east is a bit strange to think about.

Any chance this is going to be released on the 360? I own it for both, but really only play it on the 360...

Oh that is so cool. I love the ending too, but tell me, don't the graphics for this version look a little dumbed down? Is that just me or YouTube?

I'm also jealous. Don't scrooge us console owners! We want a winter wonderland!!

technically speaking, is bringing that to the console versions of the game a complicated process that would take more time than its worth or is it just as easy as it was for the PC version?

AMERICAAAAA FUKK YEA!

This reminds me of the good ole TFC days when people modded their servers to replace all of the grenades with presents. Good stuff, Infinity Ward... you guys deserve that room full of money.

Oh yeah, Danro, you can do that exact thing in TF2. Try running BirthdayMOD for the PC version. Everyone wears party hats, balloons rise up when you shoot someone, and presents fall out of dead bodies.

I dont know why but this story reminded me of this movie

A Midnight Clear

Interesting take on WWII and probably much more realistic than many of the big bad war movies.

Ill go back to my hole now.

They didn't show the snowman in the back of the tall building...

They also didn't show that..when airstrikes occur..jinglebells start ringing and sometimes you hear a HO HO HO.

No joke...freakin' awesome.

This is where I wish that consoles was more download-accessible than the PC. I'm sure they'll have to go through some approval process to send this to consoles, then MS will probably want to impose a price. Blah.
