Here's a decent deal for those planning on or even thinking of buying all five of the Xbox LIVE Arcade games from the "Summer of Arcade." If you buy 'Splosion Man, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-shelled, Trials HD, and Shadow Complex by August 31, Microsoft will add 800 MS Points ($10) to your account.
Of course, there are some restrictions. This offer is only good to those in the United States, and it's going to take around four to six weeks for the points to be awarded to you.
Seeing as how all of those games are $15, excluding 'Splosion Man which is $10, that's five downloadable titles for the price of one retail game after you slash off the 800 points courtesy of Microsoft.
While we are only two weeks into the promo, it seems to be a "so far, so good" situation when it comes to the quality of these XBLA games.

No but seriously, Trials 2 is awesome and this 800 MS points deal kinda makes me want to buy it again and as well as TMNT, as I'm already planning on getting everything else.
I am pleased with this decision Microsoft.
So by doing this they acknowledge that their original price point for Summer of Arcade was a rip-off whilst simultaneously demonstrating they have absolutely no commitment to offering the same quality of service globally.
I'd love them to prove me wrong. But lets face it, they wont.
