Microsoft is rolling out additional Xbox Live Rewards offers on April 1 in the form of MyPunchcard, which is more or less what it sounds like. At least for the month of April, this promo is Xbox Live Arcade-oriented:
Play 20 hours of any combination of arcade games, receive a free avatar item
Purchase any four Arcade games for 400 Microsoft Points or more from Xbox Live, receive a one month Xbox Live Gold membership
Spend 3200 Microsoft Points on Arcade games, receive 800 Microsoft Points in return
That first one seems laughable, but what about the other two? For the sake of comparison, this is $40 in XBLA titles for $10 back; throughout March, Sony gave back $10 for every $50 purchased on PlayStation Network -- though that was not restricted to just PSN games. Also, just to be clear, you need to become a Rewards member to take part in this.
