Buy Crackdown, play Halo 3 beta photo

Talk about a great way to sell a crap load of copies of your game. According to this ad in Gamepro, if you buy Crackdown for the Xbox 360, then you'll get an invite to the Halo 3 beta. Sneaky business practice or nothing but a handful of awesome?

Either way, if this IS true, Crackdown will get a substantial sales boost.

If Crackdown is any good then its ok, if it sucks its a really sneaky move. I think its fishy either way, but I think that if the game is good less people are going to raise a fuss about it.

Either way, its gonna sell an assload of copies just because you could possibly play the Halo 3 beta

I bought Zone of the Enders 2 for the Metal Gear Solid demo. I just hope that this game is as good as that one.

Is that what they have to do?
They're not selling their game, they're selling the halo3 beta.
You know what that means, the games sucks and they know it.

Then it wont really be anything special to play the Hale 3 BETA...just getting to play a buggy version of the game early.

Tons of gaming sites have received demo discs of crackdown and there are great reviews of what's been shown so far. Including the beta doesn't mean the game sucks, any more than not including it would make the game excellent. Don't be stupid.

Burnout3 had the NfsU2 demo and BO3 was the better game, then again I can't be bothered with Halo can't care less or they add the demo or not.

@Stratus

You mean you got Z.O.E. for the MGS2 demo...but yeah, that's exactly what I thought of too. I liked Z.O.E...for all of the 5 hours it lasted, anyway. Love me some Z.O.E. 2, tho...we need a third, with a MGS5 demo...

@CannibalCalvin

Yeah, you get to play Halo 3. But, I doubt it will be anything too special. Probably just one map or something like that so it will just be like playing a demo.

The cool thing about it before is that it would be an honor to get to beta test it because so few people would get that chance, but now you wont feel special.

how much do you think halo 3 beta invites are gonna go for on ebay? that would be a good reason to get crackdown, 60 bucks and you pretty much got a free game.

Just head to your local game rental shop the day this comes out, most of their employees have no clue about anything, just ask for the card with the Halo 3 Beta invite :) They would probably just throw it away anyways.

I can see a Zone of the Enders/MGS2 Demo thing going on here.

Where the Game that was bought for the demo was actually better than the finished game of the demo.

Couple of things though, replace demo with beta. and MGS 2 with a Bland FPS called Halo.

I was looking into this game anyway, now I'm gonna have to get it. Im glad the Beta isn't bundled with some horrible game like Barbie Horse Adventures 2 or something. That would suck.
