Dont forget that knock offs are common place on Eaby. I know a few people who bought DS Lites for good prices and they turned out to be fakes. Very good fakes I might add. They looked like the real thing, and they played all the DS games, but they were fakes.

Compared to a real one, you could see how they weren't real. The plastic was a tad cheaper. The DS slot was made of cheaper material, the headphone jack was off center so you couldn't actually use any headphones, and the screen had a small layer of crusted glue where it was put together.

They still have them and the work, but they are 100% fakes. The final nail in the "it's fake" coffin was when we double checked the serial number with Nintendo, and no such number existed. So let it be known, honest Ebay sellers get duped as well. The seller they bought the DS Lites from had a 100% rating as well from thousands and thousands of sales.

He had no idea they were fake and stopped selling them when we contacted him.
