Burnout Paradise

Criterion has revealed today that new content for Burnout Paradise, called the "Toys Pack," will be released for consoles this Thursday.

Announced last year, the pack will feature nine new vehicles, including the Krieger WTR, Jansen P12, Hunter Takedown 4x4, the Hunter Manhattan, and Carson GT concept. Criterion says it will reveal all nine cars and details on Thursday morning; presumably this will also include details on pricing, which has yet to be confirmed.

Has anyone jumped back on the Burnout Paradise wagon recently? Were you ever off of it?

I've had it for a while, got the Platinum trophy on it (PS3 vers) and it has sadly fallen by the wayside.

So this will cause me to get back into the game.
As long as it's not expensive.

All that delicious DLC makes me want this game so badly right now. I think it's about time I jumped on the bandwagon.

After playing as much of the game as I could stomach, I got rid of it. The online was just.. meh. It's the same for most games of that sort. If you don't know anyone who plays online regularly that has the same game it pretty much loses all replayability.

I'm really hoping that they release a super bundle for all the DLC. I want everything but also don't want to pay a lot of money haha. Oh and thanks to Road Rules and Freeburn challenges, I don't think I'll ever emigrate from Paradise City. Well at least not until Paradise Mega Metropolis is released :P

Corican, what's your PSN ID?? I don't think I ever added you.

After the amazing support Criterion has had for Burnout Paradise, I will def. be picking at least one of these up.

I really wish I had this game earlier, its GOTY material.

Oh please, this game has been the DEFINITION of post-release support. Everything but the most recent packs have been totally free, and this coming from an EA-published title of all things.

I got the nondisk PS3 version off PSN and I really like it, although I still think the less openworld versions of the game were better.

This just looks like a quick way to make some virtual bucks. I understand the hype around the latest DLC release, but this just looks cheap.

I have these toy cars already and I must say that the Toy Motorcycle is an absolute blast to play with.

They're making me spend too much!
The hovercar was worth the money all the way, but I might have to pass on these toy cars.

toy cars? Like micromachines? Or driving in small cars in your house while swirving to avoid that oversized eraser or driving uphill on a pencil.

This DLC slipped the same day the legendary cars were released, IIRC the price of this pack was 1000 MS

any idea if they have an 'all the cars' pack?

anywho, i never liked this burnout. i own it. played ti maybe a few hours, but ill be buying at least 5-10$ worth of their DLC just to show support for this kind of business strategy.

they gave us loads of free shyte without asking, least we can do is throw a few bucks there way.

i would LOVE to see more companies follow in their footsteps
