I have heard many of you mention that you plan to support Criterion by purchasing premium downloadable content as a way of repaying the company for rocking on the free DLC front. But will you make good on that promise?
Thankfully, the "Legendary Car Pack," which will be released this Thursday for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, looks unbelievably cool.
The pack's February 19 release date comes to us via Matt Webster's Twitter, where he also mentions there will be the option to buy the four cars separately. No word on pricing as of this time, but Criterion should be getting that info out soon.
The question is, who here is getting this DLC? I fully expect to see nothing but the Jansen 88 Special on the streets of Paradise City by Friday.
[Thanks, Power-Glove]

"bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

I'll probably buy them, just because I became Burnout Elite this morning haha. 100%!!
Awesome. This should've launched 2 weeks ago when I was amped up about it. I'll still get it, but guys, was the Party Pack really that much cooler than the cars to get it out the door first?
So many points I've bought ...
Less than £5 I hope. The party pack is already as expensive as a whole PSN/Live game, just for a hotseat mode.
I appreciate Criterion's efforts in keeping a game alive, but all the updates released for free are nothing we haven't already had in other games: Bikes, day & night cycles, dynamic weather systems, even restarts. I can't help but wonder if they released an unfinished game, giving us free updates so we don't mind giving them more money for DLC.
Imagine SR2 or GTAIV that didn't have a night-time, bikes, or weather. Would you have bought them?
Justlikebuck: Fuck yes I would have bought SR2 without those features. GTAIV I wouldn't buy for $10 with those features AND the new DLC included. Fuck GTAIV.
For £6.29 you could get Flower.
No Sale, Criterion.
