Burnout Paradise 'Legendary Car Pack' hits later this week photo

I have heard many of you mention that you plan to support Criterion by purchasing premium downloadable content as a way of repaying the company for rocking on the free DLC front. But will you make good on that promise?

Thankfully, the "Legendary Car Pack," which will be released this Thursday for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, looks unbelievably cool.

The pack's February 19 release date comes to us via Matt Webster's Twitter, where he also mentions there will be the option to buy the four cars separately. No word on pricing as of this time, but Criterion should be getting that info out soon.

The question is, who here is getting this DLC? I fully expect to see nothing but the Jansen 88 Special on the streets of Paradise City by Friday.

[Thanks, Power-Glove]

I grabbed the demo last night because of the news a while back concerning this DLC. Looks like I'll have to give it a go and see if it's worth buying. If it is, add me to that list of DLC purchasers.

I'm playing right now. $3.99 for the 88 special, $1.99 for the other 3. Or $7.99 for all four.

I'll probably buy them, just because I became Burnout Elite this morning haha. 100%!!

I have your car towed all the way to your house, and all you have for me is light beer?

Thanks to the delay on the Fallout DLC, I just so happen to have a spare 2100 points lying around. Count me in for the Jansen!

I call DeLorean.

Awesome. This should've launched 2 weeks ago when I was amped up about it. I'll still get it, but guys, was the Party Pack really that much cooler than the cars to get it out the door first?

Depends how much they charge.

Less than £5 I hope. The party pack is already as expensive as a whole PSN/Live game, just for a hotseat mode.

I appreciate Criterion's efforts in keeping a game alive, but all the updates released for free are nothing we haven't already had in other games: Bikes, day & night cycles, dynamic weather systems, even restarts. I can't help but wonder if they released an unfinished game, giving us free updates so we don't mind giving them more money for DLC.

Imagine SR2 or GTAIV that didn't have a night-time, bikes, or weather. Would you have bought them?

I'm grabbing the Deloreon, not so sure about the rest.

Justlikebuck: Fuck yes I would have bought SR2 without those features. GTAIV I wouldn't buy for $10 with those features AND the new DLC included. Fuck GTAIV.

£6.29 for all 4 cars.

For £6.29 you could get Flower.

No Sale, Criterion.
