Burnout 5 on PS3 is looking so hot photo
     Simply Amazing
Featured in the latest OPM, here are some scans from the PlayStation 3 version of Burnout 5 that a lovely little man over at Operation Burnout put up. Pretty, huh? I honestly usually hate racing games, but Burnout has always been a series I can enjoy time and time again. I'm a simple man. I like explosions.

Hope they don't put in traffic checking in this one thats what really ruined Revenge aside from some major glitches. Sold that crap while I still own Takedown.

That looks great. Is it coming out for the 360 also?

Those look doable ingame to me.

Reminds me of when I first saw the 360's PGR3 shots.

Gamespy posted these same screenshots today, listed as Xbox 360. So, yeah, I'd say this is also on the 360.

No prob. I'm curious whether these are real or target renders myself. At least one image is concept art for certain. I don't doubt that the finished game will look at least mostly like these images. I loaded up Burnout Revenge on the regular Xbox just the other night and found myself still amazed at how good it looks.

If I'm remembering correctly, the original article these were from made note that these were concepts only. So target renders it is. The game is going to look good, no doubt, but this? Next-next gen.

You can see plenty of straight edges on the car models, so I'd hafta say that these shots are, for the most part, pretty believable. I suppose that the lighting and whatnot is a bit iffy, but I fully believe that the cars and environments are pretty accurate as to what we should expect.

Looks pretty...too pretty. No way they're in-game shots. Okay, well...at least not the one with the train.
